Declaration of Cash, Currencies, Bearer Negotiable Instruments (BNIs), Gold, or Other Precious Metals and Stones at Afghanistan's International Airports and Land Borders
In accordance with Order No. 4088, dated January 25, 2025, issued by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, no individual is permitted to carry physical cash exceeding five thousand US dollars 5,000 through international airports, or more than five hundred US dollars 500 through land borders.
The Customs Department has submitted the relevant statistics and data regarding Cash and BNIs from all international airports and borders of Afghanistan to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Afghanistan (FinTRACA).
